The long-rumoured iPhone SE 4 is approaching, and sources suggest it could come in two variants. According to the Japanese blog Macotakara, dummy units in their possession show a standard SE 4 unit and a larger version of the same.
Regarding looks, they both resemble the iPhone 14, with the only distinguishing feature being the back camera (a single camera). The exact design and dimensions haven’t yet been settled on, but the iPhone SE 4 can still come in only one size like older versions.
iPhone 14 Dimensions Seem the Most Likely Route
According to these new rumours, there’s a high likelihood that the new iPhone SE 4 could borrow a leaf from the iPhone 14 and come with a 6.1-inch screen. The front TrueDepth camera should also be identical. When I say Identical, the notch will also be in place.
These dummies above, shared by Macotakara, can give you a glimpse of what to expect. An insider from the e-commerce platform Alibaba provided them.
Stereo speakers, buttons, bezels, and the thickness will also be that of the iPhone 14. It might not be the thickest phone, but modern flagships are significantly thinner. It will feature a USB-C port and Apple’s new 5G modem.
When Will the iPhone SE 4 Come Out?
The iPhone 14 SE is slated to be released in 2025. I don’t have the exact release date yet, but it most likely is in the first quarter of the new year, just like the previous generation. The base model will ship with 128GB of storage and 6GB of RAM.
